Lito Sousa is a Brazilian aviation professional, educator, creator, speaker, private pilot, international aircraft mechanic and specialist in Human Factors and Safety. He is best known as the creator and face of Aviões e Músicas.
According to the official Aviões e Músicas channels, Lito has more than 37 years of experience in commercial aviation. His career began decades ago in aircraft maintenance, and he built hands-on experience across generations of aircraft. He later became a private pilot and specialized in Human Factors and Safety, the field that studies how human performance, procedures and technology interact in high-risk operations.
For more than fifteen years, Lito has made aviation easier to understand for the public. Aviões e Músicas became one of the largest aviation education platforms in Brazil by doing something simple and difficult: taking technical material seriously while speaking plainly.
